1) Avoid leaving your electric bike battery in very cold or hot environments.
2) Recharge your electric bike battery before it has fully run out.
3) Avoid riding your electric bike in extreme rain or through deep water that covers the motor and battery.
4) Don’t leave the battery charging after it has fully charged.
5) Try to avoid leaving a battery charging when you go out or overnight and make sure the room where you are charging your battery has adequate fire detection equipment installed.

Generally between 8p to 10p when using household electricity. That’s why they are such an economical way to travel and keep fit at the same time.
The technology is too heavy and unreliable at present, so not yet.

Yes we do. We are based in Andover where you can pick your bike up from. However if that is not possible we are happy to deliver and collect bikes to you. Please email or phone with your requirements.
If it’s a manufacturers problem and the bike is no longer operational then we will do all we can to get you a replacement to enable to continue with your day out. However, if you get a puncture, your battery goes flat, you damage the bike and it can’t be ridden then you will need to make arrangements to fix your bike or get it back to us.
This depends on similar variations to the range limitations such as the terrain and the level of assist you use while you are riding. As a guide our electric bikes should cover a range between 28 & 62 miles although this cannot be guaranteed. It is possible to rent a spare fully charged battery to give peace of mind.
If you are unfortunate enough to have the bike is stolen and you cannot prove that you have taken the required precautions to avoid theft then you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the bike. If the bike was secured by an approved lock, then you will only be responsible for the insurance excess costs. In all instances you will also need to obtain a police report and crime reference number. We strongly advice that independent third party insurance should be in place.
Any damages or loss of accessories will be taken from the deposit. Any costs over and above the deposit will be paid by the hirer
A photo card driving licence with current address or a passport and proof of current address. Photo ID and proof of address are essential, without these documents you will not be able to hire a bike. A debit or credit card for payment and a refundable deposit. Deposits will be withheld and/or reasonable charges will be deducted in the event of damage or late return. We will take an authorising credit card payment at the point of hire.
If you return the e-bike after the agreed time/date then we will charge an additional fee to your credit card depending on how late you return it. Please let us know and we will always try to accommodate any changes.
If you are planning to spend most of your time off road than on road then a mountain bike is a better option than a Hybrid. The tyres, gearing, suspension and geometry are optimised for steep and rough terrain, especially if the ground is wet.
Mountain bikes due to their tyres, gearing and suspension characteristics are less efficient on road than specific road bikes and hybrids. This is offset somewhat by having electric assistance.
Our bikes have standard pedals so clip in shoes are not necessary. Because mountain bikes can be used in challenging conditions sturdy shoes with good grip should be worn.
If you are planning to spend most of your time on a road then a hybrid is a better option than a mountain bike. The tyres, gearing, suspension and geometry are better suited to the road than an E-MTB.
Our bikes have standard pedals so clip in shoes are not necessary. Regardless of conditions we always recommend that sturdy shoes with good grip should be worn for safety.
The tyres and suspension on an E Hybrid will give the bike some advantages when going off road but the tyres are a compromise so grip especially if conditions are wet and muddy is limited. The suspension travel is also short so extreme terrain would be hazardous.
A Step Thru is a frame configuration that has no cross bar. This allows shorter riders and riders with physical limitations an option to still enjoy the freedom of cycling. The electrical assistance adds to the ease of use too.
The tyres and suspension on an E Hybrid will give the bike advantages over a road bike when going off road but the tyres are a compromise so grip, especially if conditions are wet and muddy is limited. The suspension travel is also short so extreme terrain would be hazardous. A hybrid is suitable for the roads and gravel trails.
A standard hybrid bike is much lighter than an E bike so can be transported easier and is more nimble and agile than a heavier bike when you are riding. A standard bike also has an unlimited range dependent on your fitness.
